Job Title: General Dentist
Location (and UK region): Newbury, Berkshire

A Dentist is required to join a friendly private and specialist referral centre in Newbury 1 day a week (Wednesdays) with a view to increasing in the future.

The successful candidate will be joining a team of 4 general dentists, 2 hygienists, as well as specialists in Periodontics, Orthodontics & Endodontics.

Applicants must be fully qualified, and GDC registered with a passion for patient care with high levels of communication skills, empathy and clinical awareness.

Experience: minimum 5 years in private practice, must be able to demonstrate cases.

Job Title: Specialist Periodontist or Special interest in Periodontics
Location (and UK region): Newbury, Berkshire

A Periodontist is required to join a friendly private and specialist referral centre in Newbury for 1-2 days a week.

The successful candidate will be joining a team of 4 general dentists, 2 hygienists,s well as specialists in Periodontics, Orthodontics & Endodontics.

Applicants must be fully qualified, and GDC registered with a passion for patient care with high levels of communication skills, empathy and clinical awareness.

Experience: minimum 5 years in private practice, must be able to demonstrate cases.

Job Title: Specialist Endodontist or Special interest in Endodontics

An Endodontist is required to join a friendly private and specialist referral centre in Newbury for 1 day a week.

Applicants must be fully qualified, and GDC registered with a passion for patient care with high levels of communication skills, empathy and clinical awareness. They will also be required to complete occasional CPD evenings at the practice with referring practices to develop their patient list further.

Job Title: Dental Nurse
Location (and UK region): Newbury, Berkshire

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate good organisational skills in addition to excellent interpersonal and communication skills; high standards of customer service and computer literacy are essential.

Dental Nurse Duties: work closely with the clinicians, providing assistance throughout a patient’s visit. Assisting the dentist with a wide range of procedures, from preparing the various materials required and ensuring the proper instruments and equipment are available to cleaning and sterilising the used instruments, processing radiographs and stock control.

Working Times: 7.45 am – 5.15 pm

We are ideally looking for someone 3/4 days a week currently. However, this may increase to 5 days in the future.

Please note: Although this is only a temporary contract to cover maternity leave, there may be an opportunity for this to become a permanent position if the practice needs to change at the end of this 12-month period.

Essential requirements: Must be a fully qualified, GDC registered dental nurse. You must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), Must have an exceptional level of patient care and customer service, up-to-date CPD essential; references will be requested if successful.

Non-essential requirements: Additional dental nursing qualifications such as radiography, sedation, OHI or implant nursing. Experience working in reception.

Job Title: Orthodontic Therapist

Job Title: Dental Receptionist
Location (and UK region): Newbury, Berkshire

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate good organisational skills in addition to excellent interpersonal and communication skills; high standards of customer service and computer literacy are essential. Experience working in a Dental Practice is desirable.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To greet patients in a welcoming and friendly manner, be approachable, and be comfortable discussing treatment fees and payments with patients.
• Make appointments for patients in person and over the phone by email.
• Be able to communicate effectively with patients and other staff members.
• Maintain a professional manner and appearance
• Be capable of using a computer system within the practice effectively.
• Be aware of the importance of the receptionist’s role in ensuring that every patient’s visit is as pleasant and effective as possible.
• Be flexible with hours of work in case of staff shortages/sickness/holidays etc.
• Any other duties as may be reasonable to carry out.
